Create x Wonder produced e-commerce product video for New Zealand skincare brand Emma Lewisham. The videos were made for their online store and for shorter social cut-downs, so shoppers could see texture, colour and refill steps without being in store.
Online skincare buyers cannot see and feel a cream before they purchase. Emma Lewisham needed product content that felt premium on a product page and still worked when trimmed for Instagram stories and posts. The range included hero products that needed spins and swatches, plus refill formats that needed clear how-to videos so customers would choose refill over a full new vessel where they could.
We shot in a controlled product setup and worked alongside a photographer so video and stills stayed visually aligned. Product spins gave a three-dimensional view of bottles and packs. Swatch clips showed creams and oils on application, including shade and texture. Separate how-to refill videos walked through pouch refills and airless-pod refills step by step, so the education piece sat beside the beauty content rather than fighting it.
That single shoot plan meant the brand could feed the website and social from one production day, which is usually the efficient way to run product video when you need both commerce and content marketing.

Danielle Carden at Emma Lewisham told us the how-to refill videos were receiving a lot of engagement and were extremely helpful for customers. In her testimonial she also thanked Grant for patience, technical knowledge and creative that had not been seen before in the southern hemisphere.
On sustainability, Emma Lewisham’s Beauty Circle page states: when you purchase a refillable Emma Lewisham pod, instead of a completely new product, you are reducing carbon emissions by 70%, energy use by 60% and water use by 45% (source: LCA Centre). Our refill how-to videos support that refill journey on site and social. View the work on the Emma Lewisham website.
