A corporate video goes through five stages: brief, pre-production, the shoot, the edit and delivery. Most of the result is decided before the camera comes out. Here is how it works with us, and what you can prepare to make it go smoothly.

We start with what the video needs to do, who it is for and where it will be used. That decides the length, style and how many versions you need. If you want a website video, LinkedIn cuts and an internal version, say so now so we can capture it all in one go.
This is the planning: concept, script or interview questions, locations, who is on camera, and a call sheet for the day. It can be light if you already know what you want, or a full concept and script. Pre-production is included in our pricing. A good example is our storyboarding for Air New Zealand, where planning made up for having no time to recce.
With a one-person crew we can usually get through around two interviews plus B-roll in a day. A two-person crew covers more and adds a second camera angle on interviews. Moving between sites takes setup time, so fewer locations means more content.
We cut a first version for your feedback, then refine it through agreed review rounds. Music, graphics, captions and colour are done here.
You get the final files in the formats you need for web, social and presentations. Our post on what to do with your video after delivery helps you get the most from it.
For an example of the result, see our GVI Logistics corporate video. For pricing, read how much a corporate video costs in NZ.
If you want to talk through your project, have a look at our corporate video production page, then get a quote from Create x Wonder. Tell us what the video needs to do and we will come back with a clear plan and price, plus GST.
